Kenneth M. Poole, Jr.

Ken Poole is Managing Partner and Shareholder of the firm, where he concentrates his practice in family law . Recognized for his professionalism and legal skill, Mr. Poole was selected to the 2026 Best Lawyers® list for Family Law in Florida, earned an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, and was named an Elite Top Attorney in Family Law by SRQ Magazine’s peer review program.

Mr. Poole represents clients in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and timesharing, child support, alimony, paternity actions, domestic violence injunctions, and post-judgment enforcement and modification proceedings. He is also trained in Collaborative Divorce, providing clients with an effective, non-adversarial alternative to traditional litigation when appropriate.

A former Assistant State Attorney for Florida’s Twelfth Judicial Circuit, Mr. Poole brings valuable courtroom experience to every case. In addition to his family law practice, he represents clients in criminal defense matters ranging from traffic offenses to serious felony charges.

Mr. Poole is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and has completed Florida Supreme Court Certified Arbitrator Training. His experience as both an advocate and neutral professional gives him a unique perspective in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials, helping clients navigate complex legal matters with confidence and clarity.

Mr. Poole earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2005, where he received the Book Award in Trial Practice and was inducted into the prestigious Florida Blue Key Honor Society. He also holds a Master of Science in Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science, cum laude, with minors in Agricultural Law and Natural Resource Ethics and Policy, all from the University of Florida.

Mr. Poole is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and is a member of The Florida Bar, the Sarasota County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and Family Court Professionals Collaborative.
